The green sea turtle inhabits many of the world's oceans, but is still an endangered species. My sister took the photo I used for reference in Oahu. This turtle was the first reptile I ever drew in charcoal. He will be featured in an exhibit at the Los Alamos Art Center at Fuller Lodge August 1 through September 6, 2008.

The original is framed with a dark gray acid-free mat and a wooden frame with a nice subtle green pattern. The glass is non-glare UV-protected.
