I cam across these colorful birds while researching the black rhinoceros. The lilac breasted rollers inhabit much of Africa, and are named for their lilac-colored breast feathers and the rolling action they do during flight while trying to impress a potential mate. The majority of this drawing is colored pencil, the background was enhanced with the computer.
