The Romantic Roswell event will be held at the Wool Bowl Parking
lot about 5 miles from the North end of town and located 1 block
east of Main St across from the military school. Roswell Public
Works will sweep the lot for us on Friday, 2/16. There will be a
portapottie at the event.
This year we will do a formal 2-day driving school for the Romantic
Roswell event on Sat and Sun, 2/17-18/07, because Paul Brown has
been able to get Tom Berry to come to Roswell and put on an advanced
driving school for no fee, just expenses. Also, Paul Brown has
volunteered to be a co-instructor. So we will have 2 national
champions available both days to help us become better drivers.
They plan to setup a number of driving exercises and an autox course
for us to learn on. The cost for the 2-day school is $100.00
including lunch on both days. In the past a one-day school costs
$100.00, so this is a good deal. In order for us to get the most
out of the school and to not spread Tom and Paul too thin, we will
need to limit the number of students to 12. Also, since we may need
to get plane tickets in advance, we require that those seriously
interested in attending, pre register by responding to this email
and by sending a check made out to SCCdVRG for $100.00 to:
