McGee Park near Farmington

From Albuquerque:

• Take I-25 North towards Santa Fe
• Take the NM-44 West / NM-165 East exit number 242 toward Rio Rancho / Placitas
• Take the ramp toward Bernalillo / Rio Rancho / Farmington
• Turn left onto NM-44/550 West
• Turn left onto US-64 / West Broadway Avenue
• Turn left onto CR-5568 to Sunray Park and Casino

From Los Alamos:

• Take US-84 (Chama Highway) toward Abiquiu Lake
• Take SR 96 through Youngsville, Coyote, and La Jara
• Take NM-44/550 West
• Turn left onto US-64 / West Broadway Avenue
• Turn left onto CR-5568 to Sunray Park and Casino

 

MSL Parking Lot in Los Alamos

From Albuquerque:

• Take East Jemez Road (truck route) to Diamond Drive
• Turn left (south) on Diamond Drive at Stop Light
• Take the last left (east) before Pajarito Road (Diamond Drive ends) into the MSL parking lot

From Los Alamos:

• This lot is located on the east side of Diamond Drive at the corner of Pajarito Road

NM State Police Academy Track in Santa Fe - no longer used

From Albuquerque (Cerrillos exit):

• Once on Cerrillos Drive, turn west on Jaguar Drive / Academy Drive (about 1/4 mile south of Rodeo Drive)
• Take the first right (north) into the State Police Academy Parking Lot
• Drive through the gate to the left (west) onto the track (what to do if the gate is closed)

From Los Alamos (NM 599 - Relief Route):

• Turn east on Airport Road
• Turn south on S. Meadows
• Turn east after the track onto Jaguar Drive / Academy Drive
• Take the first left (north) into the State Police Academy Parking Lot
• Drive through the gate to the left (west) onto the track (what to do if the gate is closed)

What to do if the gate is closed:

• Sometimes the State Police Academy leaves the main entrance gate to the track closed
• If the gate is closed, turn right (west) onto Jaguar Drive / Academy Drive
• Take the first right (north) on S. Meadows
• Take the first right (east) on Camino Entrada and continue to the north east corner track gate
