
We will follow delays announced by Los Alamos Public Schools. If you hear that the schools are delaying by one hour or more, we will do likewise. Please listen to LA 101 or KRSN for up- to-date information. Call the Center at 662-8922 for updates.
If we have a reduced number of drivers because of illness or bad weather conditions, medically related transportation will always receive top priority. Delivery of our Home Delivered Meals will also be a top priority for us.

The suggested donation for senior transportation is $3.00 each way. Inability to pay should not deter a client from using the service. |

Handicapped transportation is available through a cooperative arrangement between LA Bus and the Betty Ehart Center. Please inform us of the need for the wheelchair-equipped van at the time you make your reservation. |

Please call twenty-four (24) hours in advance to schedule van use. The number of drivers we hire for the day depends on an accurate projection of need. This is vitally important to the program. |

Non-medical requests that are called in with less than twenty-four (24) hour's notice will be on a space-available basis. |

Consolidation of rides is also important to our budget. We may call you and ask you to adjust the times of your travel. Scheduled appointments receive top priority for service. |

You are entitled to be treated with courtesy and respect. If needed drivers will meet you at your door and assist you as you enter and exit the van. Drivers will assist you with parcels. |
