The mission of the Los Alamos Senior Centers is to provide service, fellowship, instruction, and advocacy for Los Alamos citizens who are 60 years of age and older. The Center is a place where seniors can learn, share meals, socialize, have fun, and support each other as they interact with a respectful and service-oriented staff.
Two senior centers are available to carry out this mission. The senior center in Los Alamos is located at 1000 Oppenheimer Place (next to Mesa Library) and is open Mondays through Fridays from :008 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The senior center in White Rock is located in the Municipal Complex and is open Monday through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
