The Day Out staff and participants will once again participate in the annual Scarecrow Contest. Please watch for our Scarecrow starting Saturday, October 25. Remember, Monday, October 13, is Columbus Day and we are closed that day. We have several events planned for October including a ride on the trolley bus downtown on Tuesday, October 7, and a visit to the Espanola Wildlife Center on Monday, October 20. In case you didn’t know, October is Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month. We enjoy the dogs that have come in to visit with us. An early Halloween Party is planned for Wednesday, October 29. Thursday, October 30, is National Candy Corn Day. Friday, October 31, is Halloween. We enjoy music with Ruth every Wednesday and would like to invite all to join us for any of our events.
