Come Eat!!

We will hold our annual potluck dinner and membership drive. Please bring a dish to share (main dish, salad, dessert, etc.) and a friend! In addition to the potluck meal, Judy Brownell and friends will show their quilts from pictures. It is sure to be entertaining!

Be sure to bring “Show and Tell” items you have made for the Quilt Market. We want to inspire everyone to create something and participate in this great opportunity!!

Bring any pillow cases you have made for the One Million Pillowcase Challenge.

October 26, 2010 White Rock Baptist Church Cindy Brick will be presenting her lecture “The Incredible Crazy” for our program on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:00 pm at the White Rock Baptist church. Cindy currently resides in Castle Rock CO and is a national lecturer and quilting teacher, quilt restorer, author, and an expert on old quilts and quilt history, including crazy quilts. She is an American Quilter's Society-certified textile appraiser, a professional quilt judge and the author of 6 books, including the FABRIC DATING KIT. Cindy will be teaching a workshop on Wednesday, October 27 at the White Rock Baptist Church from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The title of her workshop is “Color, Fabric & Embellishments for Crazies” and she likes to give out lots of embellishing freebies!
