Rope Burn in Hell - The leftmost bolted route on Early Wall

1. Rope Burn in Hell 12b (PG) **. The leftmost bolted route on Early Wall. The trail up to the left side of the mesa passes nearby making that the easiest approach. A slabby start leads to steep, thin, balancy, tricky moves (did I say thin?). The PG rating can be avoided if you keep your wits about you when performing a crucial foot switch, making sure the foot you're switching to is on the downhill side of the rope. It's a clean fall... unless the rope is wrapped around your leg! A long and fun climb, as long as you watch your step.
