OTHER TRAINING
Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat training (pdf) document should be used as a reference for BSA aquatics by an "approved" trainer (contact Jennifer Elson for a list of trainers). It is partially extracted from the "Guide to Safe Scouting" which is also available online at the Boy Scout National website. This information needs to be covered when conducting unit-level training for these two courses (usually in a combined class).
For more training information, please look at the NNM Training Calendar or contact Pippa Freyer, NNM Training Chairman.
