How do you join Scouting?

If you live in Los Alamos, White Rock, Espanola or Taos, you are in the Northern New Mexico District of the Boy Scouts of America. Cub Scout Packs in the district are currently recruiting boys in the first through fifth grades. School Night for Scouting is August 25-29, 2008. Each Pack will host an information night and registration during this time for the 2008-2009 school year. For more information, contact your local school or click here. Boy Scouts are boys between the ages of 11 and 17. Venturers are young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. If you are interested in joining Boy Scouts or Venturers, please contact Bill Blumenthal, our membership chairman, for more information.
